In Istanbul and in need of a quick fashion fix? You’re in luck, because Swedish fashion megachain Hennes & Mauritz (that’s H&M to you) just announced plans to open its first Turkish location in November 2010.

The store is going to be a huge deal—really huge, with 2,300-square meters of space in anchor position in the Forum Istanbul shopping centre. That leaves plenty of space for the rails of sequinned mini-dresses, bright tank tops and trend-sensitive work wear we rely on.
The chain already has eight stores in the Middle East, having opened three in Beirut last October. Its next big territory? All you Amman fashionistas, start counting down to 2011, when H&M opens its doors in Jordan.

Until then, Istanbul is only a quick flight away…
