It’s no secret that we love Amrita Singh’s beautiful jewelry designs. Her chandelier earrings have dusted many a shoulder in the Dia offices, and we enjoy sharing her bracelets and necklaces with you. Which is why we’re so excited to have had the chance to speak with the designer herself! She took a few minutes out of a trip to Hong Kong to share her favorite New York insider spots with Dia.

Shopping: “I love Barney’s NY—it has the best contemporary/designer collections in the city. For shoes, Bergdorf Goodman has the best of the best!”

Spa: “When I’m a bit stressed, I head to Bliss Spa for their triple oxygen facial.”

Restaurants “Nobu is a special restaurant that’s always very consistent. For brunch, I love the fries, oysters and bloody marys at Pastis! For a classy cocktail, don’t miss the bar at the Four Seasons Hotel.”

Arts: “There are too many amazing galleries in the city for me to choose a favorite, but when it comes to museums, I love the MoMA. Its design store has fantastic homewares too.”

Summer hotspot: “The Soho House rooftop is my favorite people-watching location, and a great place to cool off in the summer heat.”
